The Guava Rose cocktail, a delightful creation by mixologist Junior Merino, blends the tropical essence of guava with the delicate floral notes of rose, and cachaça resulting in a refreshingly exotic libation. While the original is blended, we opted for a vigorous shake and strain for this version, to keep the cachaça from being too watered down.
1.5 oz cachaça
0.75 oz guava puree
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
0.75 oz rose syrup
45 ml cachaça
20 ml guava puree
20 ml fresh lime juice
20 ml rose syrup
300 ml cachaça
150 ml guava puree
150 ml fresh lime juice
150 ml rose syrup
Add all liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until very chilled, and strain into coup glass - let any small ice crystals into the glass as well.
