This version of a siesta is Based on the siesta created by Katie Stripe, which was based on the Hemingway daiquiri which was based on a traditional daiquiri which was based on… okay, I need a nap.
1.5 oz Blanco tequila
0.75 oz lime juice
0.75 oz elderflower liqueur
0.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice
0.25 oz campari
45 ml Blanco tequila
20 ml lime juice
20 ml elderflower liqueur
15 ml fresh grapefruit juice
7.5 ml campari
300 ml Blanco tequila
150 ml lime juice
150 ml elderflower liqueur
100 ml fresh grapefruit juice
50 ml campari
Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled, and strain into coup glass or vibrant Mexican inspired ceramic cup. Sip and enjoy!
