The perfect balance of sour, sweet and heat from fresh citrus, spicey honey syrup and tequila - sublime!
1.75 oz Tequila or Mezcal
1.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz Fresh Orange Juice
0.5 oz Hot Honey Syrup
50 ml Tequila or Mezcal
45 ml Fresh Lime Juice
30 ml Fresh Orange Juice
15 ml Hot Honey Syrup
275 ml Tequila or Mezcal
225 ml Fresh Lime Juice
150 ml Fresh Orange Juice
100 ml Hot Honey Syrup
Place all ingredients with ice into cocktail, shake and strain into rocks glass with fresh ice. Garnish with jalepeno wheel.
Notes:
Honey syrup disolves in drinks much more easily than straight honey. If using straight honey, try to find a more viscous honey and stir into drink thouroughly before shaking to ensure fully incorporating into drink.
If you like smoke with your spice, try using a smoeky mezcal instead of tequila.
2 pt anejo tequila

3 pt blanco tequila
2 pt fresh grapefruit juice
1/2 pt lime juice
2-4 pt grapefruit soda to top off
2 pt rum
1-2 pt lime juice
3-4 pt spicey ginger beer
bar spoon of grenadine
