Honestly, I will take a negroni sour over a normal negroni any day… this one cuts the sweet in half and adds in the bright acidity of fresh lime juice.
1 oz of your favorite gin
1 oz Campari
0.5 oz sweet vermouth
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
Garnish: orange peel
30 ml of your favorite gin
30 ml Campari
15 ml sweet vermouth
15 ml fresh lime juice
Garnish: orange peel
250 ml of your favorite gin
250 ml Campari
125 ml sweet vermouth
125 ml fresh lime juice
Garnish: orange peel
Place all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Stir vigorously until chilled. Strain into low ball glass with one large fresh ice cube. Express orange peel over rim, and garnish with peel.
